Study plan : Research-based (Executive) Course (ก1)
Course Expectation:
When students finish the course, they will have a good grasp of governance concept, debates, and practice. They will also be discerning of various ways governance could manifest itself, i.e. state governance, corporate governance, and civil society governance
How will I learn?
The course is taught in English and begins with two compulsory subjects.
- Theory and Foundation of Governance
- Research in Governance
The student will choose one more subject that suits his/her interest.
- State and Governance
- Corporate Governance
- Democracy, Civil Society and Governance
Since students in this track are already trained or possess a degree of expertise in relevant subjects, the evaluation is S/U.
Students shall begin writing the thesis if they are assigned thesis advisor vis a vis committee from the Faculty of Political Science. If the students require co-advisor, he/she could be an external resource person (terms and conditions of Graduate School applied). The thesis is an academic work written in English of approximately 15,000 words demonstrating understanding and critical analysis of governance. The student must defend his/her thesis in order to graduate. The course lasts 1 year.

Qualifications
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Applicants should also have work experience in senior professional level or occupy managerial position or executive position in public organization, private organization, non-governmental organization (NGO), international organization or equivalent.
- TOEFL: minimum paper-based score of 480 or internet-based score of 54
IELTS: minimum score of 5.5
CU-TEP: minimum score of 60 - Additional qualifications are subject to conditions announced by the Graduate School in that particular academic year or the Committee of MAG Program.
